The students of Tamaki Primary enjoyed the performances, there was laughter and joy filled in the hall. They taught us games. We also got to know their names and get to know them well. The World’s Greatest by R.Kelly

WALT use our analysing skills.

Part of the song
What is the main idea(s) in this part of the song?
Give an example from the text that supports this idea.
Give another example from the text that supports this idea.
Express your viewpoint by synthesising what you have analysed.
-Do you agree with this part of the song? Why/why not?
Verse 1
The main idea in the first verse is I am me.
Oh, I am a vision
And I can can see clearly.
If anybody asks you who I am, just stand up tall look em in the face and say.

I agree that we all see yourself in the future, and don’t let anyone judge you for your appearance.
Chorus
The chorus main idea is about believing in yourself and being your own strength.
“I’m that little bit of hope when my backs against the rope”
“Hey,I made it I’m the worlds greatest”
I agree that we all have to be our own strength because if our strength is with someone else what would happen to us when we need it.So by seeing ourselves as unique things we can support ourselves.
Verse 2
The main idea in the second verse is I am who I am
“I am a giant,
I am an eagle
I am a lion down in the jungle..”
“If anybody asks look ‘em in the face and say..”
Yes I agree. This is because it explains who he is and gaining strength to stand up for yourself no matter what others say.
Verse 3
Striving to achieve and love all that is around you
“In the ring of life, I’ll reign love”
“use a success you’ll find in me”
I agree because it defines the pain that people sacrifice to strive to achieve what they wanted and that they’ll share the world with love.
Verse 4

Don’t let any put down, pull you down.
“And faith was right there to pull me through”
“I am that little bit of hope”
I agree that we shouldn't be pull down just because of words, but there are friends out there that can help us.

Forbidden Friends

Legend has it many years ago war was declared between two tribes the Red Panda and Serval Cats Tribes, this war began when one serval cat found it’s prey on a red panda a leader of it’s tribe and the Serval cat a chief of its own. This war started and lasted many years ago, but when the war was over peace never was reclaimed and the two tribes lived in each others axial. This story was told to the tribes to remind them how their hatred for each other will never heal, it was mostly told to each tribe future chief and leader.

40 years passed, peace was never restored, a young prince was playing  in the beautiful garden and he saw a serval cat walking passed, he remembered the tales between the two tribes, he suddenly froze for a minute, the serval cat looked at the, young red panda prince as if he is going to eat him. The serval cat opened his mouth, the young prince thought that he is going to eat him. in
“Help” yelled the young prince.
“Stop yelling, I’m not going to eat you” said the serval
“You're not” with relief said the red panda
“I’m not” said the serval

They talked and talked and talked throughout the way, and up to a point they realized they weren’t suppose to talk to each other, they looked at each other and said in their mind who care’s it’s not like anyone is going to find out.

Three weeks passed they were still  friends and never told anyone about their little secret, they each decided to meet in the japanese garden everyday. One day the mother of the young prince saw him sneaky out. The mother of the young prince became curious and ordered an owl to spy on him every day, starting from tomorrow.

The next day came, Preston the young prince woke up early and explored the palaces, and up to the point he was feeling alone, he nearly went to Tyler the serval cat’s place, he noticed an owl flying across, Preston knew his mother was the one who arranged the owl to spy on him, that day Preston didn’t go to the japanese garden, that day Tyler thought that Preston wasn’t his friend anymore.

The next day, Preston went to the japanese garden and waited for an hour, he didn’t see Tyler. The first thing that went to his mind was that Tyler wasn’t his friend anymore, than he remembered that he didn’t came yesterday to the garden, Preston felt really sad and tried to make up for the mistake he made.

Preston was in his room, thinking about a good plan, after 30 minutes he came up with a plan, his plan was smart but dangerous, his plan was to reunited the two tribe, but first he had to take care of the owl, so he ordered an owl to fight with the other owl, that plan was going ok, he got to the other tribe and look for Tyler, after 10 minutes of looking he finally saw Tyler, he was in a huge house, even huger than his house.

He nearly went inside the house, than Tyler open the door and saw him, Tyler had his angry face on, Preston explain why he didn’t came to the japanese garden  and he apologise to Tyler, Tyler accept his apologies and  he told Tyler what was his plan.

They both decided to help each other in the plan, so they first went to the serval cat’s leader, the serval cat nearly kill, the young red panda prince the serval cat jumped and attack the leader and said “listen to him”. The leader of the serval cat got surprise and listen. Preston told the whole story even how they met.

The leader of the serval cat was not pleased with this, but shook at the same time. He had a smile in his face, ok I will accept this to happen, but if your parents accept it, The smile on Tyler and Preston grew bigger. Before they left the leader said it is going to be hard and good luck.
They reach the palace and told the parents everything, Preston’s parent had an angry face and said “I accept this”. We thought you were going to said no” From that day onward they became friends.

May my friendships always be.
The most important thing to me.
With special friends I feel I'm blessed.
So let me give my very best.
I want to do much more than share.
The hopes and plans of friends who care.
I’ll try all that a friend can do.
To make their secret dreams come true.

Tonga vs Samoa

Tonga vs Samoa

Wow what a game. It was a awesome game, both team tried they best. The scores were 34 for Tonga and 4 for Samoa. The reference was cheating a little bit, because there were about only 20 sec in the clock. The reference said stop it's finish, the Samoa were complaining. At the end many people were crazy, especially the Tonga people. One guy ran to the capital of the Tongan team, but he just ran towards the bow.
