My Ancestral Poem - If my ancestors were alive.

If my ancestors were alive

I am a Tongan flower blooming in the morning sunlight.
I am proud to a Tongan.
I hope my ancestors will be with me in every decision I make.
And guide me through tough times.

Last night I crept across the snow
Where only ancient ancestors go.
And then I waited quite alone.
Until the ancestors radiance shone!

At midnight twenty ancestors came.
Each white and shining like a flame.
At midnight twenty ancestors sang.
The stars swung out like bells that rang.

They lifted me across the hill.
They bore me in their arms until.
A greater glory greeted them.
It was the ancestors in Bethlehem.

And gently, then, the ancestors smiled down.
There was glory in that town.
It was as if the ancestors were alive.

It was so beautiful to see.

Such glory ancestor, for a child like me.
So beautiful, it does not seem.
It could have been a ancient dream.
